Update: The Last Annual Heart Of The South 326-Mile Race (June 20, 2020)

After 2 days or 48 hours on the race which started last June 18, 2020, three (3) of the top runners had registered or clocked in with 157 miles under their belts. These are the husband and wife, Alan Abbs and Beverly Anderson-Abbs of California, USA, and Grant Maughan from Australia.

For the first 36 hours, Grant Maughan was leading but he was joined by the Abbs husband and wife tandem when they reached Mile 157 in 48 hours. As of this time, four runners had quitted out of the 66 runners that started in Arkansas.

In the attached video below, you will these three top ultrarunners in this documentary film. In this video, the a team from these three runners will be filming them and will come up with a documentary film about the said event.
